After a 7-8min. cardio warm-up we really get down to business on the stability ball and on the floor isolating each muscle group and challenging ourselves to get out of our comfort zone and really burn the fat into lean muscle.

At Doonya, you’ll follow along to cardio and conditioning intervals of varying intensity, each activating major muscle groups of the abs, arms and legs. The energy and expressions of Bollywood-inspired music and dance will keep you smiling as you burn up to 800 calories while learning dance and fitness fundamentals. 

 

By using your own resistance and muscle control, you’ll leave with a stronger core, lengthened limbs and increased stamina to keep you invigorated for the rest of your day. Doonya is your happy workout.  Doonya is an AAFA and ACE accredited program.

 

 


 Founded in 2012 by dancer and chore­o­g­ra­pher Namaala Lieben­thal, Zoca is a

unique new take on dance fitness that has quickly taken South­ern Africa by storm.

Inspired by the colour­ful car­ni­vals of the Caribbean and the new boom in African

pop music, Zoca brings together these two rich cul­tures to cre­ate a highly effec­tive

and exhil­a­rat­ing work­out aimed at not only improv­ing strength, mus­cle tone and

endurance but confi­dence and body image as well. Zoca goes beyond other forms

of dance fitness by set­ting a com­bi­na­tion of chal­leng­ing and fun chore­og­ra­phy to

music that trav­els from the streets of Trinidad & Tobago to the night­clubs of

Zam­bia.

The mantra sums Zoca up in three sim­ple phrases: “Shake it up, shake it out, and

shake it off,” which is to say, “dare to do some­thing dif­fer­ent today, shake the

stress and ten­sion out through a high-​energy class, and ulti­mately shake it [the

weight] off.” Unlike any other fitness class, Zoca instruc­tors traipse through local

night­clubs and street per­for­mances for their inspi­ra­tion bring­ing together a truly

diverse mix of sounds and styles. Thanks to an ever-​evolving stream of fresh music

and moves, class-​goers or Zocan­istas as they’ve come to be known, leave every

class feel­ing lib­er­ated, reju­ve­nated and eager for more.

 

Hit It!® Kickboxing is a fusion of nightlife and Kickboxing/Boxing/Tae-Kwon-Do producing an explosive hour of fun. The workout with fast musical rhythms is designed for intense cardiovascular conditioning that aims to reshape the arms, legs, glutes and abdominal muscles and designed for all ages and fitness levels. This fast-paced class will have everyone punching, kicking and thumping to the latest hip-hop sets and hot dances mixes in a party-like atmosphere.

POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated

drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and

Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 400 and 900+ calories per hour,

strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer

physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!

 Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™,

you’ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by. Rock,

rap, dubstep, pop and old school music fuse to create the POUNDtrack series, which is

hand-selected by music enthusiasts, drummers and

POUND founders Kirsten Potenza and Cristina Peerenboom.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa Yoga is connecting the movement of breath with physical postures (asanas). This coordination allows the students to remain within the present moment. Taught with alignment, breathe and modification cues, vinyasa class will be sure to help students increase muscle strength, endurance, flexibility and reduce levels of stress. 

 

 

Zumba® – When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

 

 

Zumba® Toning Zumba® Toning  –  When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. ProFIT Club: Hi Guest 2630 Zoca is Zambien, Caribbean, Reggae/Soca dance fitness class. You will truly work up a sweat and be mad that the class has ended because the music moves you. You should defintely check it out!

ProFIT Club: Hi Guest 1770, Shhh is a low impact cardio class dancercizing to slower sexier music focusing on our core. We also do a couple of chair dances with the legs and glutes in mind.
